Another field trip, another cancellation. I was supposed to chaperon Trenton's class trip today. Instead I will be taking Phillip to the doctor for his hearing loss. The school nurse said that he failed his hearing test on the right ear...again. Even though our pediatrician said it was nothing but wax, I'm skeptical. Why does it keep returning? So Trenton is pissed that I am not going with him and Phillip is pissed that I'm dragging him to the doctor's office. I just cannot win with these kids.

I am so sorry Kadi! I hope it is only wax and they are able to clear up the problem with a little treatment! Poor Trenton...he will ge t over it though.

I took Evan to the doctor's yesterday for his 1st Grade physical...apparently he is blind?!! Just kidding, he failed the eye exam, but no worries he slept all the way to the doctor's office, which is about 45 min. away in OC, so I believe he had some sleepy in his eyes ;) I would go and get a second opinion, though for Phillip.
Sorry, I hate lose/lose situations like that.
